The wine offers a big presence and structure from the Cabernet Sauvignon, combined with bold flavors of dark fruit, blackcurrant, spice and notes
of cigar box. The palate is complemented by a soft mouthfeel and silky tannins wrapped around hints of blueberry, oak spices and caramelized sweet flavours resonating from the charred cigar notes.

In the early hours of the morning, on 20 November 2018, a raging fire erupted in our winery placing the wine-making team on high alert to safeguard our precious wines in barrel. It took dozens of firefighters to contain the inferno and, through the brave actions of these unsung heroes, the blaze
was doused and catastrophe averted. Instead of devastation, we saw opportunity for innovation and rebirth in the wake of destruction. Inspired by the fervour of the Roodeberg trailblazers who went before us, the idea to create a new, more intense blend – rich and complex, bold and robust – was born…
