TASTING NOTES: Crimson and intense robe, which reveals a beautiful concentration. The nose is powerful and demonstrative. The tasting opens with kirsch cherries and bloody notes accompanied by a light roast. The palate then reveals nuances closer to the terroir where appear, elegantly blended, liquorice, undergrowth, the finish being slightly spicy. The whole is relatively soft and supple and has a good persistence on the palate.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14 to 15°C (15 to 16°C for older wines).

FOOD ACCOMPANIMENT: Young, this wine goes well with all poultry and roast meats (a duck breast, a leg of lamb or a piece of roast beef). After 6 to 7 years it is a wine that will go well with more sophisticated cuisines based on marinated sauces, game birds and venison later.
