With a very limited production, Primado Red is a rare wine, with great complexity and unusual longevity. Produced from Touriga-Nacional, Tinta-Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen, in a foot-treaded granite press, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and a long period in bottle. Clear and bright, it has a dense core and a purplish red and violet hue. The complex aromas emphasize ripe fruit, namely wild berries, floral notes, tobacco and spices. In the mouth it is dense, velvety and persistent, showing spicy notes, and here you can also see the presence of tobacco and spices. The aftertaste is long and complex, revealing austere tannins that give it a long aging capacity in the bottle.
