The Bodegas Morgadio have their home in Galicia, the cool part of Spain responsible for the best white wines in the country. The village of Crecente is located to the north and not far from the Portuguese border and is part of the Rías Baixas wine-growing region. The Albarino vines thrive here, giving these wines their unique character and remarkable quality.

The label is based on the entrance portal of the Cathedral of Santiago di Compostela, hence the name Puerta Santa for this lively white wine. The Albarino vines, which are up to 40 years old, grow here on sandy granite soils in the Condado do Tea sub-region. The expansion takes place in steel tanks.

The Porta Santa Albarino is light yellow in color with green reflections. The scent is intense, typical of this rather aromatic variety, reminiscent of yellow and white fruits, melon and white flowers. It is charming on the palate, has an almost creamy texture, but is always fresh and resilient. The wine is extremely drinkable and is great fun from the first to the last sip.
