The Chianti Superiore denomination marks the bridge between Chianti DOCG and Chianti Classico, but observes its own particularly strict production regulation.

WINEMAKING NOTES
The fermentation and maceration extend for about 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with frequent pumpover. Once the malolactic fermentation has ended, the wine is refined in large steel and concrete tanks at controlled temperature for a few months before being bottled.

COLOR
Ruby red.

AROMA
Pronounced plum and raspberry with floral notes, violets in particular. The finish highlights a spiced layer of pepper.

TASTING PROFILE
Bold at first followed by sculpted tannins. Sincere, consistent and enduring finish.

FULL TASTING NOTES
Characteristic on the palate, markedly Chianti-style, elevated by composed and refined ageing.
