Wine Details
In the glass, the Oude Kaap Chardonnay Reserve from DGB reveals a bright golden yellow colour. The first nose of the Oude Kaap Chardonnay Reserve flatters with notes of gallia melon, mangos and papayas. The fruity components of the bouquet are complemented by even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The DGB Oude Kaap Chardonnay Reserve impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was placed on the bottle with only 4 grams of residual sugar. As you can of course expect with a wine beyond the supermarket shelves, this South African naturally enchants with the finest balance in all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Oude Kaap Chardonnay Reserve flatters the palate with a velvety feeling without letting it miss freshness at the same time. The finale of this maturable white wine from the Coastal Region wine-growing region captivates with good reverberation.
