Wine Details

This vintage is named after Robert Charles, Kevin and Heather Arnolds eldest son.

Complex red and dark fruit with earth and cold stone leads the aromatics of this Stellenbosch Shiraz, accompanied by plum fruit and leather spice undertones. Natural acidity and classic granular tannins are characteristic to the nature of a Stellenbosch Shiraz.

Shiraz is a variety chosen for its property of expressing a sense of place, and in this instance, vineyards surrounding Waterford in Stellenbosch. The wine is vinified and matured in old barriques to preserve the delicate aromas and structure of the wine. Each vintage is dedicated to one of the children from the Ord or Arnold families. Kevin has a great passion for this varietal and it has always been a personal favourite. Over the last 20 years, this wine has grown into an incredible brand with followers found throughout the world.
